Weather Watching Events

The Perseids are one of the brightest meteor showers of the year. They occur every year between 17th July and 24th August and usually peak around 9th to 13th August. In 2022, the Perseids will peak on the night between 12th and 13th August.  

The Delta Aquariids aren't the most exciting of meteor showers, but they might be better than normal in 2022 because the new moon occurs on the night the shower reaches its peak and the dark skies might make it easier to see the meteors.
